Welcome to the Neuroacademy

The Neuroacademy Luxembourg was founded in 2012. Our goal is to provide a treatment (Neurotreatment)research (Neuroresearch) and sound, scientific and practical training (Neuroacademy) in Neurofeedback therapy, Neuroregulation, QEEG and rTMS for doctors, psychotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, naturopaths and educators. We offer modular trainings as well as continuing education for Neurofeedback therapists, trainers and lecturers. The courses culminate in an examination leading to certification by the Neuroacademy Luxembourg.

Our courses are constantly updated to incorporate the latest research findings and developments in treatments. In addition to the courses and seminars on Neurofeedback, we also offer other courses and seminars that complement Neurofeedback.

Our trainings and treatments are based on qEEG (quantative EEG) Neurofeedback processes

Please do not hesitate to contact us for trainings in your own premises.

Patients:

At Neuroacademy Luxembourg, we offer modern neurotherapeutic interventions as a complement to psychotherapeutic and medical treatments, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS), and Neurofeedback.

These methods aim to modulate neuronal activity patterns in a targeted manner and to support the brain’s self-regulatory capacity. They are used, among other indications, in the context of depression, anxiety and stress-related disorders, attentional difficulties, states of exhaustion, and trauma-focused treatment. The selection of the appropriate procedure is made on an individual basis following professional assessment and a quantitative electroencephalogram (qEEG).

  • TMS uses brief, painless magnetic pulses to gently modulate neuronal activity in the cerebral cortex.
  • tDCS applies a very low-intensity direct current to influence neuronal excitability and learning processes.
  • Neurofeedback is a learning-based method grounded in operant conditioning, in which patients gradually learn to regulate their own brain activity through real-time feedback.
  • Biofeedback is a learning-oriented method in which physiological processes such as heart rate, breathing, muscle tension, or skin conductance are made visible. This allows patients to become aware of and deliberately influence stress- and arousal-related bodily responses

For clinical indications, we generally recommend these procedures as an adjunct to psychotherapy, as their effects are most meaningful and effective when combined with psychotherapeutic processes.

An exception is the field of Peak Performance, where these methods may also be applied without concurrent psychotherapy to enhance performance in the absence of a clinical indication.

Please note that these treatments are currently not covered by health insurance providers and are therefore offered as self-pay services. We are happy to provide you with personal and transparent information regarding procedures, potential effects, scientific foundations, and costs.
